Blessings and Shalom to Ya ALL- during this special time.
It's been a hard 07 for the Thomas household...and this year i found it more than difficult to "get into" the seasonal stuff. Finally put up the tree (little thing-fiber optic) i've always loved the Jewel tone colours with some added bling to it. I'll be off and about today picking up some good grub and happy drink, while "Practicing the Presence" as Brother Lawrence puts it, in the form of added patience!

We have some very special people that are gonna "Touch IN" so my heart feels warm with anticipation. Some of the "Tribe" are in London for Holiday and Video Chat helps so much to feel closer. (Haven't gotten that translating gift in the Spirit yet so Skype or I CHAT will have to suffice.)

So Lord,
Touch us with the Advent of Your LOVE and let our hearts be Your manger where You rest and abide. In Jesus Name, Amen!

Just a Christmas Question

This season is filled with such performance - the pressure to buy the "perfect" gift X's the multitude of family, friends and obligatory acquaintances. It would be more honest to when we see that "perfect"- special something, somewhere else in the year to randomly pick it up and send it. Perhaps it's just the place where God sent His Beloved to advent His love. Just perhaps, the most wonderful gift we can share and behold in each other is the Advent of Friendship.
Just my thoughts today.
To those that are my beloved- Thank you for the Gift of your friendship it's extraordinary.
